OUR MISSION
When we first opened our doors in 1979, our mission statement for Ideal Printers was pretty simple:
“Ideal Printers exists to serve three constituencies: our customers, our employees, and our owners. And always in that exact order.”
From day one, we’ve believed that’s what would allow us to stand out in a saturated print market. We always knew we could produce quality print–but our willingness to go above and beyond for our customers would be the key to our success. This idea (well, ideal), was driven from our belief that every single customer, and every single project, deserved a personal commitment from every single one of our employees that interacted with their project, every single time–from sales to press to delivery.
We also believe that when you choose Ideal to be your printer, you are entrusting us with your company’s or your brand’s or even your own personal reputation. Early on we realized the work we do reflects directly on you, and that responsibility is something we’ve never taken lightly.
Finally, we believe that the most valuable asset we can attain is your trust, through transparency and authenticity. We earn this not from writing down some words in the form of a mission statement, but by living those words every single day.
And that’s why 40 years later, our mission statement is still simple. In fact, it’s exactly the same:

OUR FAMILY
You may have noticed at the center of our vision statement is our employees–and that’s not by accident. We’ve always felt that our team is the heart of who Ideal Printers is, and the pulse of the corporate culture that’s been built here. As a family-owned business, we’ve always believed that family was vital to us, so we began viewing our team as a sort-of extended family from very early on. Like a lot families, we show this by supporting each other, celebrating life with each other, and by always trying to be there for one another–even with things get tough.
While we may not all sit down together on Thanksgiving to celebrate, there’s plenty of other days each year that we do. Whether it’s our annual Cinco de Mayo celebration, our annual meeting, a night out with the Saint Paul Saints, one of many summer cookouts, or through service projects, we always try to find ways to enjoy our successes, and most importantly, enjoy each others company. After all, without the dedication each team member bring every day, none of this would be possible.

Ideal Printers is Chain-of-Custody certified (FSC® C009042) by the Forest Stewardship Council, ensuring any FSC-certified products purchased have come from responsibly managed sources.
