Large format printing is one of the most exciting print segments to emerge out of the digital print revolution. As large format technology continuously improves, it’s also a segment that is becoming increasingly difficult to adequately define, and one that’s becoming much more attainable and common for business to invest in as part of their promotional strategy.
So what is large format print? Typically it’s any printed piece wider than 18″ in width. This can include anything from large foam core posters, to the window clings you see in displays at retail stores, to life-size cardboard cutouts, to printed wall murals, and all the way up to entire building wraps. While the definition of ‘large format print’ may be a bit ambiguous, the statements that large format print makes is anything but.
