G7 is a demanding set of standards developed by IDEAlliance to prescribe how to use the most modern technology, techniques and processes to consistently produce high-end commercial printing with accurate visual appearance from proof to press and from press to press.
G7 builds on existing ISO 12647 Standards (International Organization for Standardization for sheet-fed offset and web-offset heatset) as the basis for good printing, G7 defines calibration processes which allow commercial printers achieve an accurate match from proof to press.
Ideal Printers Inc. has made the commitment to acheive G7 Master status. By implementing G7, we eliminate the subjectivity and uncertainty in the evaluation of color allowing a proof to match the final output press output. Color consistency is achieved throughout the entire print process.
